Why smart candles?

At Hestia’s Candle Co., we’ve integrated a special feature for you to personalize your candles: a hidden NFC tag that links to a photo, message, or even a video of your choice, combining the warmth of real candlelight with the power of memory.

 How It Works

  • On every pillar candle you add to your cart, you’ll see the option to upload your file (Photo or video) for an additional $5.
  • The chip will be placed on a tag hanging from the wick — or on a keepsake card for an extra special touch.

Steps to Reveal your memory 

  1. Unlock your phone.
  2. Hold the top of your phone (near the front camera) close to the candle’s label to activate the NFC chip.
  3. A notification will pop up at the top of the screen.
  4. Tap the notification to open your memory.
  5. Tap again anytime to revisit your stored content.

Note: Most iPhones read NFC automatically when tapped. On Android devices, you may need to enable NFC in your settings before tapping.
